Pony Express Rumor has it......what is now an address along Miltona Bay Road, was at one time on the Pony Express Route.

Because there was(is) a natural spring located on the property with superb tasting water, it became one of the scheduled stops for refreshment, rejuvenation, and supply. Many times the riders would camp overnight allowing the horses to rest. On a tranquil night, you can still smell their campfire.
