When a
floating bog has broken free
from the shoreline by natural causes, and
becomes grounded elsewhere on private or
public property, the property owner(s)
where the bog becomes grounded is/are
responsible for removing the it if they
so desire. |
|
Removing
and/or transplanting a bog requires a
DNR permit issued through your local
DNR office. The DNR will provide
advice and approval regarding where to
relocate the bog on the lake, and how to
stake it down. |
|
|
|
Pushing a bog to your
neighbors' shoreline
under the dark of night
is not very neighborly,
nor is it legal.
A permit is required.
Contact the DNR for
approval and
instructions.
