Score Your Shore

Score Your Shore is a tool to assess habitat conditions of developed lake lots. How well does your property filter rain and snow melt run off?? The Lake Association Board asks you to participate with your neighbors in assessing the type, quantity, and quality of existing shoreline habitat.

The most desirable time to complete the survey is in July after the "in the lake" weeds have grown.

Examples of questions:
1) does your septic system need maintenance?
2) do you follow the exotic plant regulations?
3) do you avoid damaging bulrushes (lake reeds)?

Please print the "score your shore form" pdf and complete the survey, then use it to help improve your impact on the water quality by making changes that would improve your score.
